Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers lovely and comfy rooms, but the back of the property is a bit neglected. The service is wonderful, but some areas like housekeeping could be improved. The location is amazing, with a cozy atmosphere, though there may be issues with water pressure and hot water. The dining options are very good, with a variety of dishes, but dining hours may not suit early flights. The facilities are nice, with wood burner fires creating a cozy ambiance.
Despite some small drawbacks like the rooms being really small, the hotel impresses with its clean, modern rooms with great views. The location is superb, right on the edge of the salt flat, and the service is commendable with staff going above and beyond. Dining is good but could offer more options, and the pool area could be improved for a better experience.
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, including the suite which was really nice with salt bricks but in poor condition, offered a cozy atmosphere with welcoming wood fires in many alcoves. The service was good with amenities like housekeeping available. The location, in the town of Colchani roughly 20 minutes north of Uyuni, was ideal for exploring the Salt flats although it could get expensive to reach there. The dining experience had its ups and downs with some aspects needing improvement. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory.
Staying at this hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms, with king-size beds made from salt bricks, offered great comfort and stunning views of the Uyuni salt lakes, but the remote location came with challenges like extremely low water pressure. The dining experience had diverse vegetarian and vegan options, but the size of the restaurant compared to other facilities was a bit disappointing.
